Our Origin Story
CTOx™ was founded in 2024 by Lior Weinstein to address a gap in the market: thousands of experienced technology leaders wanted to build fractional CTO practices but had no proven system for doing so. Drawing on his experience building and selling multiple technology companies, scaling 8- and 9-figure businesses, and pioneering AI-driven transformation, Lior created a comprehensive methodology that removes the guesswork from launching a fractional practice.
Through CTOx, we teach CTOs and CIOs how to transition to fractional practice fast without trial and error. This includes the principles of building strong, data-driven technology departments along with the precise sales and marketing strategies fractional CTOs need to build their businesses. It’s a program built on deep practical experience and a track record of real results.
Our Founder
Lior Weinstein is a serial entrepreneur and strategic catalyst specializing in digital transformation. He helps CEOs of 8- and 9-figure businesses separate signal from noise so they can use technologies like AI to drive new value creation, increase velocity, and leverage untapped opportunities.
Lior is a tactical turnaround specialist with deep practical expertise in leadership, marketing, and software engineering. He rapidly distills complex strategies and accessible opportunities into a practical, actionable, and future-resilient road map. Lior has built and sold multiple technology companies and holds multiple machine learning and AI patents. His life purpose is dissolving people’s barriers to action so they can drive impact and pursue happiness.
